Job Coaching

To guide the Guest towards successful job search, assistance is offered in completing the application, interviewing techniques, explaining inconsistent work history and felony convictions, and marketing self to potential employers. The program participant is required to obtain employment not only to meet the program fee but also to learn responsibility and to become self-sufficient.

Behavioral Management

Referrals to local social agencies, and faith-based ministries to meet the individual needs of the Guest requiring counseling such as Divorce Care, Grief Retreat, Self Esteem Skills and/or Anger Management.

Life Skills Training

To meet the goal of returning to the family and contributing to the community, the Guest are encouraged to start a savings account to encourage financial responsibility, to perform chores and participate in house meetings to increase skills of household management, and to prepare meals for experience in menu planning and food shopping

Community Resources

To minister to the whole person, referrals are made to the appropriate government agencies, licensed professionals, faith-based organizations, and community-based organizations.

Fig Leaves Clothing Closet

To meet basic needs, articles of clothing donated by the community are provided free of charge.

Bread of Life Food Pantry

To ensure each Guest receives proper nutrition, meals are prepared and served three times a day. This also fosters a family environment in the home.

Transportation

Transportation is provided in commercially insured vehicles to ensure safe arrival to work, recovery meetings, and spiritual meetings.
