To qualify for the programs of The Potter’s House, the candidate must be referred from a medical facility, detoxification center, a treatment center, the judicial system or other faith-based or social agency.
An interview is conducted by telephone and /or in person to introduce the program, become acquainted with the candidate, and to determine if the program will meet the candidate’s needs.
Hope After Dope Initiative
To become a guest in this program, the candidate must be eager and willing to build a spiritual foundation, work the principles of the 12 steps, and obtain/maintain employment while presenting with appropriate social skills. Preference is given to those having recently completed a drug treatment program.
Project S.T.R.I.P.E.S.
To become a guest in this program, the candidate must be dual diagnosed with a substance abuse disorder, a client of AID Upstate and under the medical supervision of Dr Potts. The plan of care must be adhered to and the Guest must maintain an optimal state of health.
